Fritz Andreae left Switzerland for Ontario, Canada in 1911. He worked there until 1917 when he moved to Anniston, AL.

Ontario, CA; Summer 1914Maybe these kids are from two families. Buster looks to be the same age as the twins. I don't know who Mr. K is. I think these pictures are taken at a lakeside resort—details to follow. (Mr. Emile Darte was the director of the Electo-Metals plant. Maybe the twins belong to him.)

St. Catharines, ON; 1915?This is what's now known as the fourth Welland canal. It connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Construction began in 1913, but work was put on hold from 1916 to 1919 due to a shortage of men and workers during World War I.
